How can therapy help my child?

–Therapy can be instrumental in helping your child with following challenges:

What ages do you serve?

–Extended Reach serves children and adolescents ages 5-18 and up to age 20 with Medicaid.

–We are located at 919 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. Our phone number is (910) 484-0095

 

What are your hours of operation?

–We are open from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday-Friday. We also have Crisis Service available 24/7.

 

When is your enrollment open?

–We offer year-round enrollment.

 

What types of behaviors might I see in my child that would be a reason to be assessed at Extended Reach?

-Anger, difficulty in school, trauma, anxiety, acting out, abusive behavior, substance dependence all are behaviors that should be assessed by an qualified professional at Extended Reach.

 

Do I have to have a referral from a doctor for my child to receive services at Extended Reach?

–Although we do receive referrals from doctors, we also have clients referred to us by schools, family members, friends and churches. You do not need a doctor’s referral to make your child’s first appointment.

 

Do you bill insurance?

–Yes, we bill Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and a host of other insurance providers

 

Is the intake process lengthy?

–No, the intake process can be done using an online form on our website or over the phone. If you do the intake in the office, it should only take around 20 minutes to complete.

 

Does Day Treatment mean that my child does not go to school?

–Day treatment occurs after the school day is over and involves a treatment plan for each individual child. It is not tutoring and it is not daycare. It’s a daily intervention process.

 

Do you serve adults?

–Our program is tailored for children and adolescents, not adults.
